I was warmly welcomed by Colin, when I arrived at the JoeDaisy B & B  where I stayed 3 nights  It`s funky in style, which reflects the owner Caroline Hulse, a world renowned artist.  The house is light and airy, neutral walls are splashed with a dazzling collection of her own and other artists work.  I loved the quirky touches which she has dotted around which create a sense of fun.

My bedroom was simply furnished, but had luxury accessories such as rich dark red  sheets and bed coverings, a cotton bathrobe hanging  behind the door, soap, shower cap, and bath essence, and a very comfortable bed.  None of the rooms are en suite but it didn`t seem to matter.  The bathroom I used was large and spacious. read more

We have been on a massive hunting spree - getting great design items for the 'new look' JoeDaisy Guest House

Starting with some stunning bed linen - wonderful silky feel and sensational looking!!

Every bed room will have an 'artist' identity - with copies of their paintings - Cat has painted some stunning Lichensteins, Colin some Lempickas and Caroline some Picassos and Cezannes (in case you are worried about 'copyright' - it is perfectly legal to copy famous artists' paintings - as long as you don't forge their signature!!) And ALSO - we thought we had better tell you they were copies - in case you thought they were originals (they are THAT good!))

Cat has taken weeks to PAINT this complicated Lichenstein It's breathtaking!!

New pillows, new dressing tables, new mirrors for the bedrooms.

The Dining Room is going to be SENSATIONAL - it will be a great surprise - so I won't spoil it!!

We'll just tempt you with a picture of the stunning lights!!

The Lounge will have a wonderful 'modular' sofa and some single chairs - more exceptional lights as well!!
